Once part of the Great Inca Road that spanned 25,000 miles, Peru’s Q’eswachaka bridge is a 120-foot-long walkway across the Apurímac River made from woven grass. Locals have periodically rebuilt the bridge over five centuries using methods employed by their Inca ancestors.
