Working for Great Britain during World War II, inventor Robert Watson-Watt dramatically improved radar technology. After the war, he moved to Canada and was reportedly caught speeding by a police officer with a radar gun. He quipped, “Had I known what you were going to do with it, I would never have invented it!”
