Answer: Anne, the last Stuart monarch, was queen of Great Britain and Ireland from 1702 to 1714.

Answer: Anne, queen of Great Britain, suffered from various health problems, among them attacks of gout, an inflammatory disease of the joints that causes sudden and severe pain. She spent much of her life in poor health.
