United Airlines flight 93 is most closely associated with the phrase “Let’s roll.” Passenger Todd Beamer was heard making the statement during a call with an air phone operator. He and others then attempted to retake control of the aircraft. The plane’s final minutes were documented on the cockpit voice recorder. As passengers could be heard battering the cockpit door, the hijackers decided to crash the aircraft, with one of the hijackers saying, “Pull it down!” The hijackers then began changing “Allah is the greatest!,” which were the last recorded words.
