Yes, the focal points of the 9/11 Memorial are twin reflecting pools, which occupy the footprints of the Twin Towers. Measuring nearly an acre and sunk 30 feet (9.14 meters) into the ground, each pool is lined with waterfalls that cascade into a void at the center of a square basin. Surrounding the pools are bronze panels inscribed with the names of victims of the September 11 attacks and of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
