Italy has hosted the Olympic Games three times. It held the Winter Olympic Games in Cortina d’Ampezzo in 1956 and Turin in 2006, and it held the Summer Olympic Games in Rome in 1960. The upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games will mark the fourth time the country has hosted the Olympics.
