Raymond K. Bluhm Jr. is a retired U.S. Army colonel and military historian, author, and former professor of American history. After 30 years of service in the U.S. Army, he works as a historical consultant to museums and leads battlefield tours. He has published several articles and coauthored and edited six books on Army history.
His work appears in Encyclopaedia Britannica as part of a joint publishing agreement with the publisher of 1001 Battles That Changed the Course of History, where the work originally appeared.
